Who is Vignesh Puthur?
Vignesh Puthur is a promising all -rounder from Malappuram in Kerala. Who made his mark in domestic cricket despite economic challenges. He was born on 2 March 2001. When he was in college, he started cricket as a medium pacer, but later spin turned into bowling. After which he became a slow left-arm orthodox spinner. Mumbai Indians scouted Vignesh during domestic matches and bought her for 30 lakhs in the IPL 2025 auction. Earlier this year, he was with the team as a net bowler for Mi Cape Town in SA 20, where he further enhanced his skills with Rashid Khan.

Debut in IPL without playing home matches
Vignesh Puthur made his IPL debut without playing any home match. He has not played a single domestic match for Kerala at the senior level.
