Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly dismissed speculation that the match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) can be shifted to Guwahati on the day of Ram Navami. Ram Navami is on 6 April. On this day, KKR and LSG match is a schedule in Eden Guardons, Kolkata.
The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) has not yet made an official statement about the match being shifted. But such reports are coming from the board’s sources. Sourav Ganguly’s elder brother Snehashish has said that the police is expressing their inability to provide security in this match. Snehashish Ganguly is the president of the Bengal Cricket Association.

Former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said on Saturday, ‘Just wait and see what happens next. Have you seen the post of Kolkata Police tomorrow? I don’t think the match will be shifted and yes, I am supporting Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
BCCI vice -president Rajiv Shukla said on Saturday that there is a discussion with the Kolkata Police regarding the security system in the match. Kolkata Police is supporting us. We will soon solve it. There has been no decision to change the schedule right now.
