What is the PWR World Tour?
The pwr world tour is a global pickleball tour launched by pwr in July 2024. It is a well-laid-out path for players to earn points and improve their rankings. The tour features Major Tournaments, Including The PWR World Series and Grand Slams, Aiming to Boost Picklaball’s Global Popularity and Enhance Career Propects. The Tour Operates Across Different Regents, Allowing Players to Accumulate Points and Qualify for the PWR World Series.

Therefore, it is important to understand all aspects of the PWR Ranking System, Which Includes The Points Allocation System, Tournament Tiers, Points Distribution, Ranking Policies.
How many Tiers of Tournaments are there in PWR?
There are eight distinct classified tournaments on the PWR World Tour. The higher the tier, the green number of ranking points Awarded to players or paels. Tournaments are categorized based on the ranking points offered.
- The PWR 2000 (Grand Slam) is the Highest Tier of Tournament in the Hierchy, Attracting Top-Ranked Players from Around the World.
- Just beLow the Grand Slams is the PWR 1000. It also attracts top international players, offering 1000 points to the winners.
- The PWR 700 is a National-Level Tournament, Attracting Top Players from the Country and Determining The National Ranking System.
- At the state level, the highest-ranked tournament is the PWR 400 Event. These tournaments are help at the state or regional level, allowing players to compe with their broader geographical area.
- At the next level, PWR 200 is a Club-Level Tournament Within A City, with Multiple Clubs Competing for Glory Within A Single Day.
- PWR 100 is an inter-call, entry-level tournament, Catering to upcoming players.
- At the bottom of the ranking system is the PWR 50, a Club-Level Competition that Ensures Competitive Play Within A Single Club. These events help players get introduced to competitive pickleball.
Besides these categories, there is another category called PWR Socials or Amateurs Category. It allows pickleball tehusiasts or beginners to play casually. 20 points are awarded to each winner, but these points are not added to the official PWR Ranking System.
How are the points distributed?
Points are awarded based on the final placement of players or teams in Eve Tournament. The Table Below Outlines the Distribution of Points for Each Tournament Tier, from the winner down to players exiting in the early rounds. This system applies to singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events.
