On March 22, the official beginning of the current season of the league will be started with the opening ceremony at the historic Iden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. 10 franchise teams are participating in the league. Matches will be played in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Delhi, Guwahati, Wizag.
