A couple of weeks before the selection meeting for the england tour, Rohit Sharma Announced His Retirement from Test Cricket. The India legend was expected to continue as the captain but he decides to give up the format after eating reportedly told that he wouldn’t the team in engine. India will only have a new test captain. Jasprit bumrah once look set to replace rohit but he could miss out on the top job due to his fitness issues. Shubman is the front-engineer to become the new test captain.

The opening batsman is the Vice-captain of the white-ball teams and could become India’s full-time all-format captain in 2027.

Virender Sehwag captained India in their debut t20i but he wasn’t the full-time Leader. MS Dhoni Became India’s first full-time t20i captain. He Became India’s all-format captain after anil kumble’s retirement from tests in 2008.

Virat Kohli was India’s second all-format captain. He Led India in All Formats from 2017 to 2021.

Rohit Became India’s full-time all-format captain early in 2022. He is now only active in ODI format. Rohit-Led India Enjoyed Huge Success Until The Series Defeat Against New Zealand.
