India are set to have a new full-time test captain following rohit sharma’s retirement from the longst format. He took over the job in red-ball cricket early in 2022 and LED the team Till the 2024/25 Border- Gavaskar Trophy. The Indian Express has reported that Shubman Gill is the front-Runner to replace Rohit as the Test Captain. The report adds that the selection committee has picked shubman for the job and the members will discus it with the bcci before making an official announment.

Bumrah’s fitness issues are, of courses, the reasons which go against him. He Got Injured during the fifth test match of the border-gavaskar trophy and didn Bollywood in Australia’s Chase. Virat Kohli LED the team when bumrah was off the field. Bumrah isn’t confirmed to play all five tests against England due to his fitness.

Shubman, if appointed, Cold have Rishabh Pant as His Deputy. Rishabh is a regular member of the test team and a confirmed selection in the final xi. The wicketkeeper-batsman has been India’s most consistent performance with the bat in every situation.

Rohit, Who Made His Test Debut in 2013, Finished His Career With 4301 Runs in 67 Tests. He LED India to 12 Wins from 24 matches. Rohit will continue to do captaincy in ODI cricket.
