Roman Reigns was a notable absentee from this week’s WWE Raw. It was the penultimate Raw before Wrestlemania 42 and the WWE fans in Houston were eager to see the OTC. But the former Undisputed WWE Champion wasn’t part of the show. The WWE had recently released Reigns’ schedule in the lead-up to Wrestlemania 42 and he was never advertised for the show. Reigns has been on a part-time WWE deal since 2022 and he makes very few appearances. He returns for important storylines and takes long breaks. The fans are waiting for his next WWE appearance.
There is a big update on Reigns’ future and he is confirmed to appear on the final Raw before Wrestlemania 42. He is advertised for the show in Sacramento. He will once again have a segment with Punk, who kicked off this week’s show.
Brock Lesnar will also be part of Raw. Lesnar has been on a part-time WWE deal since 2012 and makes a handful of appearances. He is giving it all on the road to Wrestlemania 42 and has been making regular appearances since being challenged by Oba Femi to a match. Lesnar has put over Femi in every segment they have been part of so far.
Jey Uso, Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley are among the other superstars advertised for the last Raw before Wrestlemania. Seth Rollins will also be in attendance, along with Gunther. The former World Heavyweight Champions will square off at the biggest show of the year.
WWE announces Wrestlemania lineup
Meanwhile, WWE has announced the lineup of both nights of Wrestlemania 42. Reigns will challenge Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on the second night. The Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will close the first night.
Lesnar and Femi will square off on the second night. This match is likely to open on the day. Seth Rollins will once again perform on the first night of Wrestlemania and take on Gunther. WWE has announced 13 matches across two nights so far. They could add one more match to the Wrestlemania card on next week’s Raw.
