The opening ODI of the three-match series between Pakistan and Australia is scheduled for this Saturday in Rawalpindi. Australia will be missing opener Travis Head, pace trio Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, and regular captain Pat Cummins, all of whom have been rested to manage workloads after their IPL outings. Due to an ankle injury, Mitchell Marsh, the tour’s appointed captain, has also been ruled out. Josh Inglis will therefore captain the team for the series, with the final two games set for June 2 and 4 in Lahore.
