Sachin Tendulkar turned up to the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London ahead of what is set to be a historic day during the fourth and final day of the one-off Test between the Indian and English women’s cricket teams. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side are looking to create history by securing a victory after finding themselves in a commanding position at the end of day 3.
Before the start of the day’s play, Tendulkar was spotted on the field and talking to Indian players, including skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and star batsman Smriti Mandhana. Later, the broadcaster captured the Indian team standing in a huddle.

BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla and ICC President Jay Shah were also spotted sitting with Tendulkar in the stands.
India On Cusp Of History
This fixture is the first time the iconic venue, which is known as the ‘home of cricket,’ is hosting a Test match, and the Indian side is on the cusp of writing their name in history and becoming the first women’s cricket team to win a game in the longest format on the storied ground.
Talking about the match, India posted 286 on the board in the first innings and took a first-innings lead as the hosts were bowled out for just 170. The Asian giants responded by scoring 341 runs in the second innings before they declared on the third day.
Krati Gaud and Yastika Bhatia created history by becoming the first women bowler and batter to engrave their names on the Lord’s honor board with a five-wicket haul and century, respectively.

Tendulkar is currently in London and also attended the Wimbledon 2026 men’s singles semi-final between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner on Friday (July 10) at the iconic Center Court of the All England Tennis and Croquet Club.
