From that point, the momentum shifted. Dipti and Yubrani began to find openings, reducing unforced errors and gradually closing the gap. Once they drew level, they maintained control through the latter stages, winning consecutive points to complete the turnaround and close out the match.
Their path to the final included a convincing semi-final win over Anshika and Shivangi. Dipti and Yubrani dominated that contest, securing an 11-4 victory with steady play and effective coordination.
In the other semi-final, Manaswine and Aditi had edged past Avani and Tanisha 11-8 in a closer contest. That match saw both pairs remain within touching distance, but Manaswine and Aditi managed to pull ahead in the closing stages to book their place in the final.
The final, however, unfolded differently. After their strong start, Manaswine and Aditi were unable to sustain the same control as Dipti and Yubrani settled into the game. The shift in rhythm proved decisive, with the eventual winners managing key phases better under pressure.
Dipti and Yubrani’s ability to adapt mid-match and maintain consistency in longer rallies stood out, particularly after conceding the early lead. Their recovery highlighted the importance of composure and partnership in doubles play.
With this result, they completed a strong run through the knockout stage, turning a difficult start in the final into a controlled finish to secure the intermediate women’s doubles title.
