Tim David faces airport mayhem as fan tries forceful selfie, RCB star's reaction goes viral: watch

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Tim David found himself in the middle of a chaotic situation at the Mumbai airport after being mobbed by hundreds of fans. One of the fans even tried to take a selfie without the Australian’s consent, but the RCB stalwart handled the situation calmly, taking the phone from his hand and then handing it over before sitting in his car. The incident created a storm on social media, with people raising security concerns and also questioning the civic sense of fans.

Tim David Key For RCB

Mumbai Indians (MI) will host RCB in a crucial game at the Wankhede Stadium on April 12, and Tim David will look to repeat his heroics against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). David was in brute form against the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side and blasted 70 in just 25 balls to help RCB thrash the five-time champions. David was roped in by the RCB for 3 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

RCB, MI Eye Return To Winning Ways

Meanwhile, the defending champions have been solid so far in IPL 2026, winning two and losing one game. They started the tournament with wins over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings, but suffered a big defeat to Rajasthan Royals in the last game. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, won against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but then lost back-to-back games against Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
