Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) will fight for not just their second Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy on Sunday (May 31) in the summit clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium but also the chance to earn a massive paycheck with a huge reward as prize money awaiting the winner of the world’s richest cricket league.
Both RCB and GT have won the title once each and have the chance to become the fourth team after the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to win the trophy on multiple instances.
RCB, GT Await Massive Paychecks
The winner of the clash will receive a whopping ₹20 crore in prize money as per previous seasons. It is worth noting that so far there has been no fresh announcement of a change in the winners’ rewards by the BCCI. Since 2021, the prize money of the winning teams has remained the same.

The total prize pool is ₹46.5 crores, with no prize money for the teams that did not reach the playoffs. However, there are several other mediums of earning revenues for the remaining teams from broadcast rights, advertisements, and gate revenues.
Meanwhile, the winner of individual awards like the orange, purple, and most valuable player (MVP) awards. All these prizes will be given during the post-match presentation at the end of the final.
Talking about the match, RCB are favorites to win the title, as the winner of the first qualifier has secured the trophy in each of the eight seasons. The last team to win the second qualifier and lift the trophy was Mumbai Indians (MI) in 207.
