Indian super welterweight Nishant Dev started the Anthony Joshua vs Kristian Prenga main card live on DAZN PPV by knocking out Cesar Diaz with three knockdowns at 2:56 of the first round. Dev took his time till he found the ideal opening after taking two knockdowns early in the first stanza. As the first round was coming to a finish, Dev found a way to knock Diaz down one last time by bending his slightly and connecting with a sharp left uppercut.
With four seconds left in the round, Diaz managed to stand again, but the referee believed it was enough and waived it off. Dev now has five knockdowns and is 7-0 after the victory.
