From the outset, Aashrithaa set the tempo with sharp shot-making and intelligent court coverage, forcing Sanjana onto the back foot. While Sanjana fought hard to stay within touching distance, Aashrithaa repeatedly found answers at crucial moments, mixing controlled aggression with steady decision-making.
The eventual champion maintained her composure whenever the pressure threatened to build, refusing to allow her opponent a route back into the contest. Her ability to pick the right moments to attack proved decisive as she gradually widened the gap on the scoreboard.
Sanjana showed glimpses of her quality throughout the final, producing several impressive rallies and refusing to back down despite trailing. But Aashrithaa’s consistency and calm under pressure ensured she remained firmly in control.
A final score of 21-14 reflected the authority of Aashrithaa’s performance as she sealed the U14 Girls’ Singles crown in style.
