In a video that has gone viral on social media, Warner looked upset with Moeen Ali and charged towards the all-rounder before Head of Strategy and Team Director Haider Azhar stepped in and took him away. The clip spread like wildfire on social media platforms, drawing strong reactions from the cricket fraternity. The fans were baffled at the situation and pointed out that moments like these can pull a team down.
The altercation came after Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by five wickets in a 199-run chase. David Warner had a brilliant outing in the match and scored a fifty to lay the foundation of a win. Later, Azam Khan played a whirlwind innings of 74 to take the team to a win.

Did Moeen Ali’s wicket leave Warner Angry?
While the real reason why Warner was upset with Moeen Ali remains unknown, it could be because of his wicket at a critical moment of the game. Karachi Kings needed five runs to win in the final over, but they lost Moeen Ali for five runs on the first ball, triggering panic in the Karachi camp. Moeen missed a slot ball and was dismissed LBW. However, Abbas Afridi, who hit a six against Lahore Qalandars to win the game for the Kings, repeated the feat and hit a first-ball six to seal the game.

The win meant that the Karachi Kings stayed undefeated in three games played in the PSL. In the first game, they defeated Quetta Gladiators after a man-of-the-match performance by Ali, who scored 48 in 29 balls and also picked up a wicket. In the second game, they defeated Lahore Qalandars by four wickets in a nervy chase.
