At the beginning of the tournament, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla’s Kolkata Knight Riders jersey was black, but Juhi had changed the color of the team’s jersey due to his superstition.
Juhi Chawla is the mistress of KKR along with her husband Jai Mehta and co-star Shah Rukh Khan. Jai Mehta and Juhi Chawla in the documentary Living with KKR told how the color of the team’s jersey had to be changed due to the superstition of the actress. Change color due to superstition
In Living with KKR, Juhi Chawla says that she was against KKR’s black jersey from the beginning. The actress says, ‘I had some problem with black color. I used to think that this color is not going with the team and was not increasing the enthusiasm of the team. When we continuously returned to the defeat, I felt that now enough is enough, now we have to change the color of the jersey ‘. After Juhi Chawla’s decision, the color of Kolkata Knight Riders’ jersey was changed from black to purple.
