The Dink Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) unveiled its 2026 Regional Showdowns calendar, outlining a nationwide pathway for amateur players to qualify for the Championships. The series, featuring multiple stops across the United States, will allow players to compete in structured team formats while earning qualification spots for the season-ending event.
The Regional Showdowns are set to take place from May to November, with several events scheduled alongside Major League Pickleball (MLP) stops. This format will place amateur players in the same competitive environment as professionals, marking a significant step in bridging the gap between the two levels of the sport.

The tournaments will follow a team-based structure, with players competing in a four-player co-ed format consisting of two men and two women, as well as a three-player gendered format under the MiLP v3 rules. The system is designed to emphasize team strategy while offering opportunities across different skill levels.
Regional Showdowns serve as official qualification events within the MiLP structure. Teams that win their divisions will secure direct entry into the Championships, often referred to as a “Dream Ticket”, while also earning points that contribute to the national leaderboard.
The 2026 calendar includes events in Dallas, Columbus, Austin, New York, Newport Beach, Chicago, Kansas City, San Diego, Jacksonville, and Lynnwood. Several of these, including Dallas, Columbus, Austin, New York, Newport Beach, Chicago, and San Diego, will run alongside MLP events.
The structure places added importance on each match, with results carrying greater weight in leaderboard standings. The format is aimed at identifying top-performing amateur teams while providing a clear progression route within the competitive system.
