Gabriel Tardio Finished The North Carolina Open Campaign on a high by clinching bot the men’s singles and men’s doubles titles on Sunday.

In the men’s singles final, the 19-year-old defeated 10th-seeded roscoe bellamy in straight games (11-9, 11-5).

However, the win was not as easy as the final scoreline suggested. Bellamy, Playing in his first final, was the stronger player in the first game, claiming a solid 9-4 lead with some priorcise backhand passing shoots.

Earlier, Tardio Paired Up With Johns to Win The Men’s Doubles Title Folling a Grueling Four-Game (11-9, 11-5, 10-12, 10-12, 13-11) Victory Over the top-seeded pairing of federico stakes and hayden Patriquin.

The second-seeded duo of Johns and Tardio Earned a Match Point in the Third Game after overcoming a 3-8 deficit, but stakesrud and patriquin managed to snatch the game and force a furthe. In the decider, johns and tardio help their nerve to seal the win.

Fahey Had a Slow Start as Todd Came Out Firing on All Cylinders in the Opening Game. The second seed, however, managed to stave off a major challenge. In the second game, todd looked poised to secure a straight-sets win, Leading 9-5 with some sharp court movement that left fahey scrambleing.

On the verge of defeat, fahey showed steel resolve by Reeling off Six Straight Points to Win the second game. She carried that Momentum into the third, closing out the match 11-6 to claim the title.

The next stop on the ppa tour will be new england challenger (May 9-11) Followed by Atlanta Championships (May 12-18).
