Yuzvendra chahal etched his name in the history books with a hat-trick in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) Clash Against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the ma chidambaram stadium in Chennai.
Chahal has taken a hat-trick for the second time in his ipl career after in the 2022 season. The star spinner is the third player in history to achieve the feat multiple times for the same team.
Yuzvendra Chahal’s Never-Done-Before Feat
Chahal is the first player in history to take a hat-trick against CSK in the League’s 17-Year-OD History. It is also the first time a bowler has taken a hat-trick in IPL at Chepauk Since 2008, When Laximipathy Balaji Became the first bowler in the league to achieve to Pbks) while playing for csk.
Before dismissing Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kamboj, and noor ahmed to complete the magical feat, Chahal dispensed ms dhoni on the second ball of the 19th over. This meant that the 34-yar-old finished with four wickets in an over. This is the third instance of a bowler taking four wickets in an over, but chahal is the first player to achieve the feat twice.
