In the Mixed Doubles Pro Main Draw, one of the standout results came as S. Dennehy and T. Shimabukuro secured a dominant straight-games win over L. Sleeth and R. Newman. After a tight opening phase, Dennehy and Shimabukuro pulled away convincingly, closing out the match 11-3, 11-3. Their sharp coordination and control at the net proved decisive, as they capitalized on unforced errors from their opponents to seal a comfortable victory.
Another notable result in the same category saw C. Campbell and W. Mackinnon overcome K. Christian and J. Arnold. Despite facing resistance in the early stages, Campbell and MacKinnon held their composure to register an 11-5, 11-9 win. The second game, in particular, tested both pairs, but Campbell and MacKinnon maintained their edge in crucial points to advance.
In the Women’s Singles Pro Main Draw, the match between H. Blatt and A. Yoshitomi produced one of the most competitive contests of the round. Blatt started strongly, taking the opening game 11–5, but Yoshitomi responded with resilience. The Japanese player edged the second game 12-10 in a closely fought battle before sealing the decider 11-6. The Men’s Singles Pro Main Draw also delivered a gripping encounter, with D. Young defeating G. Rangelov in a three-game match. Rangelov claimed the opening game 11–3, but Young responded with authority, taking the next two games 11–8, 11–9. The shift in momentum was evident as Young tightened his defense and began dictating rallies, forcing Rangelov into difficult positions.
