Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have created history during the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday (May 10) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. The two players equaled an all-time record of MS Dhoni after being named in the playing XI of both teams.
The record was confirmed after the toss, which RCB won and chose to bowl first. Both Rajat Patidar and Suryakumar confirmed that both teams are unchanged for the marquee fixture.
