New Delhi. The World Cup is going to be held once again in India. India is ready to organize the Women’s World Cup of 2025. The first match will be played in Visakhapatnam. At the same time, other different stadiums will be played for the remaining matches. During the BCCI’s top council meeting in Kolkata on Saturday, it was discussed that this tournament, which lasts for nearly three weeks, will be played in five different places.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has selected Mullanpur, Indore, Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati as other possible places. Apart from Visakhapatnam, these remaining matches will be played in these stadium. The host of the recently concluded women’s Premier League in Mumbai and Vadodara was also discussed at two places, but sources indicated that both areas usually rains till early October, so it was decided not to play any sports in those two places.
A source told Sportstar that the BCCI has agreed to these five places and now it will be sent to the ICC. When the decision comes from the ICC, then these places will be decided. Although the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not yet released the official program, the locations of the match have already been decided.
Pakistan can become tension
If Pakistan qualify for this tournament, then this match will be played on the hybrid model. Because before the Champions Trophy, the PCB had laid the condition that he would not send the team for any tournament to be held in India and will participate in the event on the hybrid model. If Pakistan qualify for this tournament, then BCCI will have to hold this tournament in Sri Lanka. That is, the match will again be played in India and Sri Lanka.
