- They have a first-yar head coach.
- They have appeared on hard knocks in the past 10 years.
- They have made the playoffs in the past two seasons.
This eliminates several notable franchises for 2025.

- Chicago bears
- New Orleans Saints
- Dallas Cowboys
- New england patriots
Additional, Recent Participants Such as the Bears (2024), JETS (2023), Lions (2022), COWBOYS (2021), and others are also also also off the list due to their previous involved.
