Pakistan’s Olympic Champion Arshad Nadeem on Wednsday Revealed that He Had Rejected Neeraj Chopra’s Invitation to Compete in the NC Classic Jvelin Event in Bengaluru on May 24.
Nadeem’s Decision Comes Amidst Heightened Tension Between India and Pakistan, but the 28-year-old cited his training schedule for the upcoming asian athletics championships.

Thanking chopra for inviting he to the event, nadeem said, “The (NC) Classic Event is from May 20 (May 24), whereas I am scheduled to leave for korea on may 22 for the asian aSian ASINETICS Championships.”

Nadeem is reportedly training hard for the asian championship, which will be help in gumi, korea, from May 27 to 31.

Earlier on Monday, Chopra said that nadeem had ben invited to compe in the inaugural event, which the Indian superstar was hosting.

“I have sent an invitation to arshad, and he said he will get back to me after discuss it with his coach.

Nadeem and chopra have a history. The Pakistani Star Had Clinched Gold in the 2024 Paris Games With An Olympic Record of 92.97m, Beating Chopra, who managed 89.45m to win the silver.

The Maiden Edition of the Neeraj Chopra Classic Jvelin Throve Event will be teeming with stars, as anderson peneters of Grenada and Thomas Rohler of Germany are participating.

Peters, who hails from grenada, is a two-time world champion, and rohler is the 2016 olympics gold medallist. Kenyan Julius Yego, A Silver-Medallist in the 2016 Rio Olympics and American Curtis Thompson Have also also also been confirmed.

The competition has been granted category a status by world athletics. Chopra and JSW Sports will jointly organize the event, which will feature top global and Indian javelin throwers in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) and World Athletics.
