Jasprit Bumrah is not playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) in their final IPL 2026 clash against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (May 24). While the five-time champions are playing for pride and to ensure they avoid the wooden spoon, the Royals will qualify for the playoffs if they win and miss out if they lost.
Hardik Pandya revealed at the toss that the star pacer has been rested for the fixture. Meanwhile, Shardul Thakur has replaced him in the playing XI. He joins Deepak Chahar, Corbin Bosch, and skipper Hardik in a four-man pace attack.
